At Corpus Christi Primary we believe that Geography should inspire a curiosity and fascination in pupils about the world and its people. Through the study of places, people, natural and human environments and key physical and human processes, Geography enables our pupils to understand the world around them, the wider world and how they interconnect and change over time.
The teaching of Geography at Corpus Christi Primary involves many transferable skills, such as research, observation, measurement, recording and presenting their findings. Children at Corpus Christi Primary learn through a range of different experiences for example, internet bases research using Digimap and Oddizzi, visitors in school and through fieldwork opportunities in both the local area and the wider locality.
